bricks and mortar 實體店面

bricks and mortar 實體店面

Brick and mortar businesses are companies that have a physical presence and offer face-to-face customer services. This term is used to contrast with an Internet-only business such as an online shop.

A: Sir, as your company’s vice president I really advise you to close all these stores and only sell our products on-line.

B: But if we do that our customers can never visit to see our products or talk to our salespeople face-to-face.

A: True, but it would save us a lot of money by not having to operate so many stores and pay so many salespeople.

B: No. We are an old fashion bricks and motor business and I want us to stay that way.
