A friend in need is a friend indeed.--

A: Hey, did you hear about all the awful things that happened to Jason?
B: You mean that he was bitten by a snake when he was hiking in the mountains, twisted his back when he was playing basketball, and got food poisoning from eating seafood?
A: No. His wife left him, his company went bankrupt, and he lost his savings to a scam ring.
B: Oh no… that’s terrible.
A: Luckily John is providing him room and board, helping him with his debts, and encouraging him.
B: A friend in need is a friend indeed!
