做壞事或虧心事時最怕的就是被抓包；台灣人怕被抓包，外國人當然也怕，因此英文中「被抓包；被逮到」便可以說 be busted，bust當動詞用時意為「逮捕；搜查」，busted 本身是形容詞，是俚語「失敗的」之意。除了 be busted，你也可以說 be caught，例如： You’re caught!（你被逮到了！）這兩種說法都適用於考試作弊、劈腿、說謊、偷錢……等等被逮到的情況。
A: Here you are! Why did you tell me that you’re in the library instead of the night club?
B: Busted!
A: 原來你在這！你幹嘛說你在圖書館，而不是在夜店？
B: 被抓包了！
